I am an artist, who loves photography and gardening. After giving time and practice to acrylics and watercolors and genuinely enjoying those mediums, I have found in recent years my enthusiasm rests in colored pencils. I have moved into that almost exclusively, leaving room for the occasional dip into other mediums.
Another passion is making art journals using vintage papers and pictures and these too will be featured in my store in Etsy.
I do mostly animal art and take approximately 12-15 commissions for pet portraits a year. These are ordered through my Etsy store.
Being an artist who is a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, fur baby mom to a precocious cat, an adventurous dog, and chief shepherd to five alpacas brings a unique view to my art and creations. In addition, I spin wool and alpaca fiber. My fun bulky homespun yarn is listed in my Etsy store when available.
